CLUB RACING

SCCA Club Racing, also known as Road Racing, involves many cars on course at one time. Due to the inherent danger, Club Racing requires much preparation, both to the driver and the car. Driving schools must be attended and the car must be made safe for competition.

The rules governing Club Racing are covered in the General Competition Rule book, or GCR, can be downloaded here.

While Sowela Region does not have it’s own Club Racing venue, several members compete at tracks such as Texas World Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway, Motor Sports Ranch-Houston, and No Problem Raceway in Donaldsonville, LA.

If you are interesting in getting involved in Club Racing, contact the Club Racing Chair listed listed on the Officer’s page.
